WebFor purposes of the study, literacy is defined as the “ability to understand and use those written language forms required by society and/or valued by the individual.” This definition has been operationalized in terms of reading test items along three scales (narrative, expository, and document) that correspond to text types. WebCurriculum. The minor Literary Studies consists of 4 compulsory courses (30 EC). The first 2 courses of this minor are offered in Dutch and English in parallel groups. In principle, you can choose the language per course, but it is also possible that, due to the efficient filling of the groups, a place in a certain language group will be assigned.
